Artfield institute of design is a privately owned design school, that was launched in September 2010. The school is the brain child of an innovative Ugandan who answered a call for the urgent need for training courses for creatives.
Today the school prides itself in offering a wide range of courses. Students can study for both Certificate and Diploma courses in Visual communication, 3D Animation and Interior design. As well as being able to brush-up on specific skills by undertaking short courses in a vast array of subjects.
Our key motivation is developing students who are able to meet the industry standards and at the end of their time with Artfield can apply their skills throughout the world.
We are strong believers that critique sessions are vital to the development of our students’ skills, portfolios and especially their confidence. So throughout their time at the institute, students and their work are continuously exposed to critiquing sessions in front of panels of their teach
